Inspiration

Below I’m compiling a list of people that inspire us to do great things. Not all these individuals are involved in Motorsports.

Austin Riley is a champion race car driver and an inspiration for all who’ve met him. His motto, “Just because you have autism, it doesn’t mean you can’t do great things,” is backed by his success both on and off the track.

Armani Williams is one of three African American professional stock car drivers currently competing in NASCAR. Armani was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old but didn’t know of the diagnosis until he was older. As his career flourished, he decided to use his platform to take autism awareness to another level, ensuring other kids like him wouldn’t have to feel “weird” or “out of place” when talking about who they are.

Lewis Hamilton, seven-time Formula One world champion, has spoken out about how he struggled at school due to his dyslexia as he throws his support behind the TOGETHER BAND to provide education for all children.

Ben Taylor was clinically diagnosed in 2022 with ASD and is a loud and proud neurodiverse athlete. Ben’s goal is not only to be a professional race car driver but also an ambassador for the ASD and neurodiverse community, highlighting the immense talent and abilities that people with ASD can achieve in life, business, and sports.
